Bull & Bear Bull and Bear is one of New York's most popular
steak houses, with its hearty portions of succulent steaks, chops and seafood,
seasoned by an accommodating, knowledgeable staff. The majestic mahogany Bar at
the Bull and Bear, presided over by enchanting bronze statues of the restaurant's
namesakes, is one of the city's liveliest. Oscar's Oscar's, long
midtown landmark, has experienced a metamorphosis, from casual cafe to stylish
American bistro. A commodious new Bar heightens Oscar's air of cordiality as does
the contemporary fare. Sir Harry's Sir Harry's offers a clubby
oasis from the hustle and bustle of the Waldorf's world famous lobby. Cocktail
Terrace Cocktail Terrace, overlooking the magnificent Park Avenue Lobby,
presents traditional afternoon tea service as well as afternoon and evening cocktails,
accompanied by piano music nightly on Cole Porter's Steinway Grand. Inagiku
Inagiku, midtown's first Japanese restaurant, has been renewed with striking
decor and an exciting "NewStyle" menu. Peacock Alley Lounge Cocktails
and a selection of specialty coffees are available in the restaurant's elegant
lounge. Peacock Alley Peacock Alley effervesces with a charismatic
charm, courtesy of the recent refurbishment and appointment of Laurent Gras as
Chef de Cuisine. His cuisine has prompted culinary pundits to rave about its "simple
perfection." For small celebrations or business functions, two stately private
dining rooms are available, each with a seating capacity of 16 persons. For larger
occasions a third space reminiscent of a private dining club is available for
functions up to 130 guests. | | Location
