Spa at Mandarin Oriental offers the perfect retreat from the hectic

Adopting a different approach to the traditional spa experience,
for the first time in London, it offers a series of innovative and
restorative treatments known as rituals designed to de-stress, relax
and revitalise.
Guests are encouraged to arrive 40 minutes before their actual
treatment to fully immerse themselves in an oasis of heat and water:
a sanarium – a sauna that offers a softer experience; the crystal
steam room which blends heat and water through a delicately lit
amethyst; the vitality pool where you lie in hot mineral water on
a suspended cushion of air whilst being gently massaged by hydrotherapy
body jets.
Drawing on exotic therapies, treatments and philosophies from around
the world, a series of specially designed ‘rituals’ encompassing
Chinese, Ayurvedic, European, Balinese, Oriental and American Indian
beliefs and practices are offered. Sip refreshing tea whilst
surrendering to a welcome foot ritual whilst the therapist
creates a tailor-made experience.
A state-of-the-art gymnasium caters for the exercise
conscious, and with Hyde Park on the doorstep, joggers
have convenient access.
